Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect the personal data you share with us.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Who we are

Yula is a web design studio based in Sarichioi, Romania. Yula is not yet a registered company, so the person who runs Yula is responsible for how your personal data is handled (the data controller). When Yula is registered, we will update this page with the company details. You can contact us at hello@yu.la.

What data we collect

When you send a quote request, we collect the details you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), type of business, the services you’re interested in, your current website (optional), budget and timeline, and your message.

Our hosting provider may also record technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs, for security purposes.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your request, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. Our legal basis is your consent and the steps needed before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)).

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 12 months if you don’t become a client, and for as long as the law requires if you do.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, namely our website hosting and email providers. They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. It only sets a small functional cookie to remember your choice in the cookie banner. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a page loads.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct or delete it
  • restrict or object to how we process it
  • receive a copy of it in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent at any time

To use any of these rights, email hello@yu.la. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Romania, this is the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
